Detachment is the real game changer!!!! I always Detachment is the real game changer!!!! I always thought detachment was a cold way to live, and to be honest, I’m someone who has a lot of fire in her so living a cold life really isn’t totally my jam. I want passion, aliveness, heat in the moments of life! But we often misunderstand the things we don’t fully understand. You see, I’m someone who attaches expectation to experiences, I attach self worth to how I’m treated, I attach my own importance to my closest relationships, heck, I attach meaning to A LOT of things. I give it all so much more power than I should. — Or at least that’s what I have done countless time in the pas. I like to think I’m headed in a new direction. Rerouting some deep seated beliefs in big ways. And I’m learning (slowly) that we must detach ourselves from all of the above to feel even an ounce of ‘true’ joy and pleasure. To allow our authenticity a seat at the table. To breathe true self expression into our existence. Because the truth is, no person, thing or experience should dictate your self worth. Only you should decide how worthy you are. And for what is worth, you are sooo worthy my love. So so so worthy! Stop giving your life force out, and turn inward. Get comfortable with being alone. Understand that no one person or thing completes you, because you are already complete and whole on your own. I employ you into reflection :: How might you sink more into detachment? How might you detach yourself from the expectations and relationships that take up so much of your energy? How might you pour a little more love into yourself darling? Because love truly starts with SELF 🙏🏻
