bloom
by Jess Little
The art of becoming who you already are.
There comes a moment when seeing yourself is no longer enough.
You begin to wonder:
What would happen if I actually allowed myself to become her?
Bloom is an invitation into that becoming.
Through photography, visual storytelling, audio transmissions, reflection, and creative practices, this collection invites you to loosen your grip on the identities you’ve inherited—the expectations of family, relationships, culture, society, and the versions of yourself you’ve created to belong.
You don’t need to become someone else’s idea of who you should be.
You don’t need to earn your way into your own life.
You are allowed to grow beyond the conditioning that taught you to play small.
Bloom is about expansion.
It is about giving yourself permission to take up space, follow what feels alive, trust what is unfolding, and begin becoming the person you’ve always been underneath everything you were told you had to be.
You don’t bloom by becoming someone new.
You bloom by becoming more fully yourself.
