It’s when your tolerance drops, your standards rise, and your energy gets expensive. At 40, you’re no longer auditioning. You’re cast. You know what you want, what you won’t tolerate, and exactly where the exit is if the vibe is off. This isn’t a midlife crisis—it’s a midlife glow-up. An era of discernment, pleasure, power, and saying “absolutely not” with a smile. So no, we don’t fear 40.
