Explorations in Art, Spirit & Life

Welcome

These are my field notes — observations gathered from the landscapes of life and work. This is where art, soul, and lived experience intersect.
You’ll find poetry, imagery, reflections on energy and spirit, and the quiet documentation of a life being shaped with care. Read slowly. Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t.
This space is for the curious, the contemplative, and the creatively alive. — Jess

There is something powerful about removing the noi There is something powerful about removing the noise. When you stop consuming everyone else’s opinions, perspectives, advice, stories and answers, you create space to hear your own. To notice what you actually think. What you actually feel. What you actually want. To form conclusions that belong to you rather than unconsciously borrowing them from everyone around you.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t arrive because we need more information. Sometimes it arrives because we finally stop adding to the noise.

Walk long enough for the urgency to soften. Walk long enough to hear the thought underneath the thought. Walk long enough to remember that you have an inner compass—and it gets much easier to hear when the world isn’t constantly telling you which direction to go.

Go take yourself somewhere quiet. You might be surprised by who you meet there.
The Art of Being Seen ✨ A body of work I’m still The Art of Being Seen ✨

A body of work I’m still discovering—
creating, living, feeling my way into,
and learning how to give language to what has always lived beneath the surface.

Photography.
Poetry.
Self-inquiry.
Expression.
And the beautiful, unruly art of becoming.

Because perhaps the invitation was never to become someone else.

Perhaps it is to soften the noise,
shed the stories,
meet yourself beneath the expectations—
and finally see the woman who has been there all along.

Not reinvented.
Not performed.
Not perfected.

Seen.
The real glow-up is realizing you don’t need to ha The real glow-up is realizing you don’t need to have everything figured out, be liked by everyone, or prove your worth to anyone. Confidence isn’t arrogance—it’s self-love without the apology. It’s knowing who you are, trusting your energy, taking up space, and being able to celebrate yourself without needing to dim someone else’s light.

So stop overthinking. Laugh more. Trust yourself. Protect your peace. Own your beauty. And walk through life like you remember exactly who the hell you are. The right people will feel it. Everyone else? That’s none of your damn business. 😂💅🏼 You’ve worked too hard to become this woman to keep asking permission to be her.💖💋🐅🔥
💋What if you stopped asking, “How do I measure up? 💋What if you stopped asking,
“How do I measure up?”
and started asking,
“Who am I when I stop measuring at all?”

What if you stopped borrowing
someone else’s beauty, voice, rhythm—
and went looking for the woman
only you can become?

There is no blueprint for you.
No replica.
No woman who can carry your exact fire.
🔥🐅🔥

So why compete
when you were never created
to be comparable?

Take off the imitation.
The performance.
The permission-seeking.

Come home to yourself.

Because the most powerful woman in the room
isn’t the one everyone wants to be—
she’s the one who knows
she could never be anyone else.🌹
