They come from forgetting you still get to choose. Choose movement over stagnation. Warmth over withdrawal. Creation over consumption. Presence over autopilot. The medicine isn’t outside of you. Or did I just find the audacity I lost along the way 🙂 … And honey—40 isn’t a number, it’s an era. ✨💃🏻✨ It’s the age where you stop explaining yourself, start trusting your instincts, and finally realize your “flaws” were just personality traits waiting for confidence. It’s when your tolerance drops, your standards rise, and your energy gets expensive. At 40, you’re no longer auditioning. You’re cast. You know what you want, what you won’t tolerate, and exactly where the exit is if the vibe is off. This isn’t a midlife crisis—it’s a midlife glow-up. An era of discernment, pleasure, power, and saying “absolutely not” with a smile. So no, we don’t fear 40.
